Through the Istanbul of Bosnia towards the residence of the former Bosnia kings

We started further south in the Vbras Canyon toward the town of Travnik, called also the Istanbul of Bosnia, due to the strong Muslim believers. There is a nicely locate old town resting on the hills and a beautiful colour d mosque in the centre of the old town, but the most pleasant place is Plava Voda, where the river runs aside nice cafes, but judge yourself...
Goodby picture after the morning cafe in Jajce
The first Islamic tombs in a backyard of Travnik
Disco club Hertz seems the place to go in Travnik...
And the memories of the Srebenica genocide are still alive and visible on the walls

The bridge towards stari grad

The coloured mosque in the centre of the town with magnificent ornaments on the outside

In the basement you can find a small bazar

The typical drink at Plava Voda - cafe bosanska ....

After that we continued to Guca Gora, an old Franciscan monetary, that was destroyed by Arabic fighters during the war, still visible on the altar pictures spoiled with colour or the franciscus shot into the head and with broken fingers.

Bumpy back roads brought us to our last stop then stronghold of Vranduk, a per ct location for a fortress, though lost its importance as the the road now passes in a tunnel below but still impressive
