After this stop we continued towards the boarder and right after that the clock towers are changed to minarets and the woman are wearing scarf's. We reached Bihac, a sleepy town in the north of Bosnia.
There is a pretty impressive memorial of the Second World War, where supposedly 12000 people where killed represented by the 12 stone Steele standing on the hill offering magnificent views.
We did not stop at the industry cafe, although I was tempted ...
On the walls of the apartment we stayed the remains of the war still can be seen after 20 years - bullet holes in the façade
After that we had a pretty interesting discussion with the local Imman of the mosque that was converted from a church in 1582 confessing that he does not drink alcohol, neither touches foreign woman but he loves rock music. He has just listened to the latest ACDC concert - he omits not Imman like but great - by the way the daughter is studying in Vienna ....
After a stroll throughout the city we finished off the day at a nice dinner at the river Una.
